Mam przyjemność poinformować, że do grona Stowarzyszeń Krajowych Czerwonego Krzyża i Czerwonego Półksięzyca dołączyło 190 stowarzyszenie - Tuvalijski Czerwony Krzyż.
Tuvalu lub Tuwalu (dawniej: Terytorium Tuvalu, Wyspy Ellice) to państwo położone na Oceanie Spokojnym w zachodniej Polinezji (na północ od Fidżi), Tworzy archipelag po angielsku zwany Tuvalu Islands (dawne nazwy angielskie to Lagoon Islands i Ellice Islands), po polsku zaś Wyspami Lagunowymi.
Stowarzyszenie to zostało zaakceptowane przez Zgromadzenie Międzynarodowego Komitetu Czerwonego Krzyża w dniu 18 listopada 2015 roku.

To all Presidents and Secretaries General of National Red Cross or Red Crescent Societies
Dear colleagues,
We have the pleasure to inform you that the Assembly of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) decided, at its session of 18 November 2015, to recognize the Tuvalu Red Cross Society. This brings to 190 the number of National Societies recognized within the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.
The decision was based on a thorough analysis of the ten conditions of recognition set out in Article 4 of the Statutes of the Movement and on the findings of a mission carried out by the Joint ICRC/International Federation Commission for National Society Statutes to Tuvalu in September 2015.
The ICRC is pleased to send you herewith Circular No. 628 confirming the recognition. The ICRC would also like to take this opportunity to once again congratulate the Tuvalu Red Cross Society and to wish the Society every success in the future.
